Malcolm Hoenlein To Speak At Temple Beth-El

Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, will be speaking at Temple Beth-El of Rockaway Park on Monday, November 4th at 7:30 p.m.

The community is invited to hear Hoenlein discuss the world situation today, particularly events in the Middle East and our new government in Washington and how they are handling the Jewish community’s relations in that part of the world.

He is considered to be one of the most dynamic speakers and has his fingers on the pulse of what is happening in that part of the world. He travels the world and speaks daily with presidents, prime ministers and others in authority in many countries, from Israel to Iran to Saudi Arabia. As well, his connections in Washington are his- toric and as he represents all of the major American Jewish organizations.

In addition to his speech, Hoenlein will take questions from the audience. He takes four or five questions at a time and answers each one, remembering what was asked.

Hoenlein holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Temple University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Department of International Relations.

His supporters say to hear him speak is to obtain a better grasp on what is happening in the world today.

Everyone is invited to the Temple Sanctuary to hear Hoenlein and come away with a greater understanding of world conditions today.
