Crime Of Passion Results In Death

Police have collared a suspect reportedly involved in the stabbing and killing of a 41-year-old man in Far Rockaway Wednesday night.

Cops arrested Anthony Fraser, 28, yesterday on the charges of manslaughter, assault and weapons possesion  in the murder of 41-year-old  Far Rockaway resident Victor Cordero  inside a Seagirt Boulevard edifice, near Beach 6th Street at approximately 10 p.m.

The crime, police say, resulted from an altercation between the two men that turned violent. The incident that saw a new boyfriend and an old boyfriend of an unidentified female trading blows was reportedly captured on video.

After being stabbed in the chest, Cordero was rushed to St. John’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to reports, Fraser, who is believed to be the old boyfriend, turned himslef into the 101st Precinct on Mott Avenue a short time later.

Officers from 101st Precinct are currently investigating the case for more on what triggered the deadly dispute.
