An array of Queens Botanical Garden clinics will be offered on herbs, gardening and houseplants. On Friday, July 25 at 2:00 p.m., the Ravenswood Branch, 35-32 21st Street, Long Island City, host "Healing with Herbs," on what can and cannot be safely used; how to pick and store herbs; medicinal teas, syrups, compresses and poultices, oil and ointments and herbal baths. You can get tips on "Designing Your Own Herbs Garden" on Friday, August 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Branch, 92-25 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, Rockaway Beach, depending on herb uses and to maximize planting space.
