New Year’s Baby 2016
Rockaway’s newest addition, and St. John’s Episcopal Hospital’s first recorded baby of the new year, arrived on New Year’s Day, Friday. Jan. 1. At 1:15 a.m., Shakira Faison delivered baby girl Skylar, 6 pounds, 10 ounces, by cesarean section. St. John’s Hospital reports that mother, dad Ian Fludd, and child are doing well.
