Rockaway Park Rezoning Meeting May 10



The fifth meeting on Rockaway Park rezoning will be held at Stella Maris High School’s cafeteria, Beach 112 Street in Rockaway Park, on Thursday, May 10 starting at 7 p.m. The Rockaway Park Homeowners and Residents Association will prepare a presentation to Community Board 14 concerning Beach 108 Street thru Beach 129 Street.

Addabbo’s ‘Eggs’tra Special Spring Hunt



Local children recently participated in a Spring Egg Hunt sponsored by Council Member Joseph Addabbo Jr. Children collected colorful plastic eggs that were scattered throughout the park at Beach 107 Street and Shorefront Parkway. They also had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny, who was hopping around the park throughout the event.
