Additional Information Xaverian High School Xaverian is a private, Catholic, college preparatory high school in Brooklyn. Established in 1957, it is one of twelve schools nationwide sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers. One of New York City’s leading schools for over fifty years, we educate nearly 1,400 young men each year. Xaverian has graduated a network of 15,000 successful and responsible Catholic men, educated in the longstanding tradition of the Xaverian Brothers. True to that tradition, we give our students the opportunity to grow their intellect, leadership skills, musical passions, athletic talents, and much more. They also have the opportunity to grow their faith on a daily basis, with a school committed to shared Christian values.

Xaverian High School offers each student a strong program designed to meet his abilities and interests. The Honors and Academy programs provide the challenge, inspiration, and education to prepare our students for success at the nation’s top colleges and universities. Xaverian’s diverse course offerings build essential study skills as students master content and curriculum, including Regents, Advanced Placement, and college-level courses. Our young men become skilled learners, vested in their continued intellectual growth. Xaverian also offers programs to serve college bound students with high aspirations who have specific educational-based learning disabilities (the Ryken Educational Center, the Legacy program, and the Equity program).
