An unidentified surfer turned Good Samaritan on April 21, pulled a boogie-boarder who was in trouble in the raging surf from the ocean. Police say units responded to Beach 86 Street at about 9:15 a.m. and found a man in trouble in the surf. Before specialized units from harbor and aviation could respond, however, the man was helped to the beach by the surfer, who had been plying his sport nearby. 018p1.jpg
