If you are looking for the Brooklyn Cyclones’ parking lot next to Keyspan Park, forget about it. As this artist’s rendering shows, the parking lot used by many Rockaway residents who attend the minor league games in Coney Island will one day be gone, turned into luxury high-rise condos by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his development team. One Coney Island activist told The Wave that he asked the mayor where people were going to park for the games, and Bloomberg answered, “I have no trouble parking my limo at the games.” So much for the little guy. Also gone will be the Abe Starke skating rink and the little league fields near the beach. 013p1.jpg
