reduce swelling and pain, and use cold
compresses in a 20 minute on/40
minute off cycle. For bleeding lacera-tions,
cleanse well, apply pressure with
gauze or a towel, cover with a clean
dressing and get to a podiatrist’s office
as quickly as possible.
