Public School 47 held its annual dance festival on June 3rd. This year’s theme was, “Sounds of New York.”  Each class performed an original dance choreographed by students and staff.  Well, all except the sixth grade who performed the “Cha Cha Slide” made famous at the Brooklyn Cyclones games.  As a special treat, Martin Harber, better known as Party Marty at the Cyclones’ stadium, attended the dance festival to support the students.  There was a great turnout of parents for this wonderful event. 060p2_lg.jpg
