Many Volunteers, each sporting a green thumb, came out to help St. John’s Episcopal Hospital South Shore plant impatiens and beautify the hospital grounds on Sunday, May 18.  St. John’s Chief Executive Officer, Luis A. Hernandez, said, “Many thanks to all who helped plant, including hospital staff, the Rockaway Development and Revi­tal­ization Corporation, community residents, and especially members of the Community Advisory Board.” Flowers were generously donated by local nurseries including De­Setta Nursery of Woodmere, Bay Boulevard Nursery of Inwood, and Dino’s Flower Shoppe of Lawrence.
