As part of Peninsula Hospital Center’s Continuing Medical Education program, Howard K. Sussman, MD, FACO, Attending Department of Surgery at the Hospital Center, gave a well-received presentation at Medical Grand Rounds on December 1 concerning the diagnosis and treatment of breast lumps. Dr. Sussman recently joined PHC’s Department of Surgery and has opened a private practice on the fourth floor of the Hospital Center. Sussman is a well-respected and experienced Board Certified surgeon who served as Associate Director of Surgery and later as Chief Medical Officer at Mercy Medical Center. In addition to general surgery, Dr. Sussman has a special interest in breast surgery and laparoscopy.
