Despite the threat of rain, Bishop Kearney High School’s 14th Annual Walk-A-Thon was the largest and most successful fundraiser the school has ever had. The faculty created a “Wizard of Oz” theme for the walk along Shore Road in Brooklyn. Students and staff raised over $110,000 in two weeks. Some of the funds will be used to refinish the gym floor and provide additional technological and education resources for the students.
