Motorists coming off the Gil Hodges-Marine Parkway Bridge and on to Beach Channel Drive can be excused if they believe they’ve encountered the “craters of the moon.” That’s what one local, who took these pictures for The Wave, describes the experience. Steve Yaeger, who took the pictures, says that there are at least twenty holes in the roadway (shown) and that many of them are several inches deep, enough to damage the tires and front end of any motorist who does not see them in time.227p1_xlg.jpg
