On May 29, the Scholars' Academy Thespians traveled to Brooklyn College to perform a scene from their upcoming production of "Guys and Dolls." This classic musical, adapted from the tales of Damon Runyon, tells the story of gamblers and the woman who put up with them. "It was an incredible experience to perform on a professional stage," exclaimed 7th grader Joelle Ashton. "We also got to see other schools perform, allowing us to assess our strengths and weaknesses." The rain could not prevent our stars from shining brightly that day. We are looking forward to a wonderful performance.
