Rockaway photographer Richard Veneziano was given his first real camera, a Canon AV-1 for Christmas in 1980 and it is the camera he still uses today. He says that he never took any lessons, just added a long lens and went out looking to “capture a moment of time.” He says that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Veneziano has been shown at the KeySpan Community Gallery, The Friends Tavern in Brooklyn and in a number of Rockaway Artists Alliance exhibitions. 096p1_xlg.jpg
