Peninsula Hospital Center received a check for $500,000 last Thursday to pay for its new, state of the art, CT Scan system. City Speaker Gifford Miller, third from right, and City Councilmen Joseph Addabbo Jr., second from left, and James Sanders Jr., second from right, presented the check, which is the second of two grants to cover the cost. Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer, left, and PHC Board Chairman Joel Miele Sr. attended. PHC President and CEO Robert Levine called said the new equipment is “the latest and the greatest,” and that it creates clearer images in dramatically less time.075p1_xlg.jpg
