Scholars' Academy students recently wrote unique, creative stories and shared them with students from a number of elementary schools, including the Goldie Maple Academy, PS 197, and PS 253. Scholars' students collaborated with peers and teachers to write books for the Ezra Jack Keats Competition. According to a spokesperson for the school, the books produced by the students "were clever, creative, beautifully illustrated, and well written." Students had the opportunity to share their creations with students in the local elementary schools. Officials at the Scholars' Academy said that they would like to thank PS 197, PS 253, and the Goldie Maple Academy for opening up their classrooms to our students. "This was an unbelievable experience that was enjoyed by all students," the officials added. 037p1_xlg.jpg
