St. John's Episcopal Hospital recently held a Patient Safety Fair to raise awareness among the public and staff of the importance of safety in the hospital. Every year, the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, an accrediting body for hospitals, issues a revised set of National Patient Safety Goals that seek to standardize efforts at making hospitals safer. Constantly working to implement the National Patient Safety Goals, St. John's Episcopal Hospital sets a high priority on patient safety.
