Police Officer Brian Driscoll (left) received the 100 Precinct's "Cop of the Month" award for May, 2007 at last week's Community Council meeting. During that month, Driscoll logged 11 arrests - bringing his total for the year to 34, according to Captain Charles Neacy (right), the commanding officer of the precinct. Driscoll also brought in four people with open warrants and apprehended four others who were being sought by the precinct's Detective Squad. "He's a pit bull," Neacy said of the officer, who is assigned to the precinct's Housing Unit. "He keeps going and going, month after month." Danny Ruscillo (center), the president of the Community Council, participated in the presentation.104p1_xlg.jpg
