At Beach 116 Street and the Boardwalk, Assemblywoman Audrey I. Pheffer greeted the many cyclists and enthusiasts at the beginning of the Queens Museum of Art's bike tour of Robert Moses' impact on the Rockaway Peninsula. The cyclists witnessed, first-hand, the many splendors of our community, riding along the Boardwalk to Beach 108 Street and then back to Gateway National Park, Riis Park. More than 50 cyclists came from all over New York City, convening at Beach 116 Street.
