Professional Hockey came back to Brooklyn last week as the Eastern Professional Hockey League took to the ice at Aviator Sports for a game between the home Brooklyn Aces and the visiting Jersey Rockhoppers. The action was fast and furious and the large crowd of several hundred hockey fans saw minor league hockey at its best. The Aces will play several more games at the Aviator Sports venue on Flatbush Avenue, right over the Gil Hodges Marine Parkway Bridge, later this month, including a Friday, November 21 game honoring Nick Fotiu, former Hartford Whaler and New York Ranger favorite.
