Free Prom Dresses Available

Prom season is fast approaching. To give local students a helping hand with their prom preparations, there will be two upcoming free prom boutiques.

Through the help of We Care New York, Make My Mother Proud, Project Window, the PS 183Q Parent Association and Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder, all local young ladies in need of a prom dress will be able to choose one at two different events. One will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14 in Room 109 of PS 183 at 245 Beach 79th Street. A boutique will also be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 at Assemblyman Goldfeder’s office at 214 Beach 96th Street. All dresses are free. Shoes and accessories will also be available.
