Catherine Wrynn opened it up scoring the first run on her single with the RBI Maggie Brady hit in. Morgan Connolly hit two homers, a solo in the 4th and a 3 run shot in the fifth, followed by an RBI double, scoring Lauren Lynch in the sixth. Marie-Elise Piccione smacked a 2 run homer in the fourth, pushing Carianne Sconzo in for a run.
The second half of the game wound up being a slugfest with the Gator bats firing up also. Ultimately the Gators beat the Buckeyes with a walk off in the sixth, making the score 11-10.
The Buckeyes season will continue with their next game on Monday, April 21 against the Gators.
The coaches are very proud of their Buckeyes, looks like it is going to be a great season!
