Still In Need Of Sandy Help?

“Are you still in need of support or guidance after Sandy?”

The Sandy Technical Assistance Centers, Community Environmental Center and the Alliance for a Just Recovery are providing hurricane technical assistance to the Rockaway community through to the end of April. The groups are inviting residents to “come to us for information on available resources, recommendations on working with contractors, and suggestions for saving you money.” The services are available at the YANA (You Are Never Alone) Community Center at 112-34 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, at Beach 113th Street.

Counselors will be available Mondays to Wednesdays, 12 noon to 4 p.m.; Fridays, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m..
