NYC Audubon Nature Walk

The NYC Audubon Society is hosting a Spring Migration Bird Walk on Sunday, April 26, at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Broad Channel.

Naturalist Don Riepe will lead a hike around the refuge’s ponds and gardens to look for spring migrants.

The event is open to all, but reservations are required. To reserve, call 718-474-0896 or email donriepe@gmail.com

Riepe is also head of the Northeast Chapter of the America Littoral Society .

The Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge is located just off Cross Bay Boulevard. The Visitor Center offers ample parking. It is also accessible by bus and is approximately a quarter to a half mile from the A train Broad Channel station.
