Adult Education, Film Nights At Temple Beth-El

Temple Beth-El of Rockaway Park has announced a series of discussion groups and film nights to start in June.

To begin the adult education program, Rabbi Allan Blaine will lead a discussion of the book "The Observant Life.” Subjects include the Holy Days and holidays, the Jewish calendar, cooking and preparing food, hygiene, traveling on Shabbat and many other subjects of interest.

All discussion groups will be held on Monday mornings June 9, 16 and 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Temple Beth-El Social Hall at 201 Beach 121st Street. Rockaway Park.

Space is limited and reservations are required. Contact the Temple Beth-El office at 718-634-8100 for futher information.

Film Night at Temple Beth-El will begin on June 12. The list of films to be shown will be announced shortly.

Reservations are not required for the films and all are invited to attend.
