Chatting With Chapey

Congratulations to the Honorable Timothy Dufficy who was the 2014 Gael of the Queens St Patrick’s Day Parade. Tim is a capable, intellectual experienced professional. He possesses the motivational capabilities and the outstanding personal character required of a leader.

Tim Dufficy was born to the Honorable John F. Dufficy and the Honorable Ann Binder Dufficy.

John and Ann Dufficy could conquer any obstacle put before them and excel masterfully. They shared a love of the Law. They settled in Richmond Hill. Ann returned to law school to complete her law degree. Ann Dufficy was on the law review. John and Ann opened a law office – Dufficy and Dufficy in Richmond Hill. They set high goals and challenged themselves. They had a very impressive work ethic, a cheerful demeanor and a professionalism which drew people to them. They were both elected as Queens County Democratic District Leaders.

Tim Dufficy had a very impressive academic record. He was educated at Holy Child Jesus Elementary School, Archbishop Malloy High School, Queens College and St. Johns University Law School. He passed the bar on his first attempt.

Tim married the lovely and dynamic Mary Mundt and settled in Breezy Point.

Congratulations to the chairperson of our parade – Michael Benn. He does an excellent job. The parade has blossomed under the creative leadership of Michael and Christine Benn, their children and our resourceful Vice Chairperson John and Tara Brennon.

Greetings were sent to everyone this year by the President of Ireland, Michael Higgins.
