Rawling hosted a dual opening reception on Tuesday, April 1, at both the Bruckner Gallery, Bar and Grill on Bruckner Avenue and Charlie’s Bar and Kitchen, one short block away on Lincoln Avenue.

A sizeable Bronx crowd enjoyed dozens of mixed media pieces and paintings. Many from Rockaway also came up to celebrate and add to the evening event.

Live music was provided by Bobby Butler, of Indaculture, John Simonelli and others. DJ Chumbley added visuals and music to the night.

Geoff Rawling has been living and working in the Bronx since being displaced by Hurricane Sandy. His two part exhibition will be on view through April.
