New York State Conservative Party Chairman Mike Long and Wall Street Journal contributor and former White House speech writer Peggy Noonan. The Rockaway Republicans have announced that the Chairman of the Conservative Party of New York State, Michael R. Long, will headline their March 18th meeting at The Belle Harbor Yacht Club.

Long has spent the majority of his career and life in Queens, and like many, he lost his home in Breezy Point to Hurricane Sandy.

According to Rockaway Republican Club President Alan Zwirn, “there are few differences between the goals of the Rock Republicans and the NY Conservative Party, as we believe as they do in limited government, fiscal prudence, term limits, among many other issues.”

Guest speaker Long will talk about the Albany legislative agenda, City Hall’s legislative agenda, ethics reform in the state capitol and the upcoming fall elections for Governor and local elections.

As the organization states “All Republicans, all Conservatives and all would-be Conservatives and Republicans are cordially invited” to the meeting. The Tuesday March 18th meeting will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. at the Belle Harbor Yacht Club, located at Beach 126th Street and Beach Channel Drive. Light refreshments will be served.
