Actors Wanted for Moon Over Buffalo

The Rockaway Theatre Company is looking for actors to audition for its May performance of Moon Over Buffalo.

Moon Over Buffalo is a comedy written by Ken Ludwig. It is about an aging theatrical couple and it is the only non-musical that RTC is doing this season. The show is directed by Leslie Ross and Alan Rosenfeld. The company is looking for male and female actors between the ages of 20 and 65. There are four male and four female roles. Actors don’t need musical or dancing abilities, but some dance background or athletic ability may be a plus as there is a lot of movement. A headshot and resume are also a plus, but those without will not be turned away. Auditions will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 16th and 7:30 to 9 p.m. on March 17th. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held March 18th at 7:30 p.m. All auditions are at the Post Theatre in Fort Tilden. Those auditioning will be given pieces to read and will have the opportunity to look them over and become familiar with them before auditioning.

All of those interested in auditioning must be available for all performance dates which are at 8 p.m. on May 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th and 2 p.m. on May 11th and 18th.
