Jerrie “Peter” Forman

Jerrie “Peter” Forman, a New York City Transit Authority employee, died on December 21st at age 74.

A Rockaway resident for more than 30 years, Forman served in the United States Army for four years as a Staff Sergeant and received an Honorable Discharge. He attended Apostolic Temple of Jesus Christ where he was a member and served as a deacon. He was also part of the usher board and security at the church.

Forman is survived by his wife, Loretta Forman; daughters, Diane Sullivan (James), Ramona Lisa Forman, Gail Perez (Roberto) and Mariah Marks Forman; sons, Jerrie Forman, Jr., and Jamel Forman; sister, Bernice Robinson; brothers, Elder Robert Lee Foreman (Marjorie) and Kenneth Foreman; sisters-in-law, Arnetha Curry and Vivian Foreman; 10 grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, church members, neighbors, and friends.
