Republican Club Meets January 13th
Rockaway Republicans are invited to a special meeting to kick off the New Year. Special guests, Scherie Murray and Councilman Eric Ulrich will be speaking at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 13th at the Belle Harbor Yacht Club.
In a press release, club member Peter Stubben said:
“In this free meet and greet event, Rockaway Republicans and would-be Republicans are invited to meet with Murray and Ulrich. Murray is a grassroots Republican from Rosedale who seeks to bring professionalism, accountability and activism to the 5th Congressional District, which includes South East Queens and the Rockaways. She ran as the Republican candidate for the New York City Council District 31 last year.
“I'm delighted to have the opportunity to meet and present myself to all Republicans dissatisfied with the status quo here in The Rockaways. We lost Bob Turner to the backrooms of Albany and I want to return Rockaway to common sense and expert representation in DC.”
Councilman Ulrich has brought himself considerable city-wide attention by endorsing a hard-left Progressive Council-Member to become the next Speaker, or the next Leader of the NYC Council and he is looking forward to meeting with local Republicans to discuss the reasons why.”
The meeting, located at the Belle Harbor Yacht Club on Beach 126th Street and Beach Channel Drive, is free. There will be coffee and light refreshments available.
