‘Inspecting Carol,’ A Holiday Hit

The Rockaway Theatre Company’s holiday show “Inspecting Carol” had a big opening weekend.

The play, taking place at the Post Theater in Fort Tilden, is about a small Midwestern theater company that is preparing for its annual production of “A Christmas Carol.” The cast runs into a series of hilarious obstacles which brings humor to the classic Christmas tale by Charles Dickens. The Rockaway Theatre Company performed the show in 2007 and some of the principal players are reprising the roles they played six years ago. There are also some special guests playing the Inspector. Among some of the inspectors were the 100th Precinct Community Council President Danny Ruscillo and The Wave’s own assistant editor Dan Guarino.

The show is a limited engagement. The final performances will take place at 8 p.m. on December 13th and 14th and 3 p.m. on December 15th. For tickets call 718-374-6400 or go to rockawaytheatrecompany.org.
