Your History In The Making

The Queens Memory project, along with the Queens Library, is looking to write a new page in the history of Broad Channel, the Rockaways, Howard Beach, Hamilton Beach and South Queens.

Each Monday through December the Seaside and Broad Channel branches of the library will be hosting the group from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m.

At Broad Channel they will be there on Monday, December 9th and 16th and at Seaside they will be there on Monday, December 23rd and 30th.

They are asking residents to come and tell their stories of these areas and share photographs, postcards and other memorabilia.

Stories will be recorded and photos will be scanned and returned.

Walk- ins are welcome. Or an appointment can be made by contacting

Queens Memory Director Natalie Milbrodt at 718- 990- 0837 or Natalie.
