The excited crowd which attended the “Rockaway Girls Exhibit” opening reception on Friday, November 8th, was vocally impressed with the variety of artwork produced by the two talented women.

Themed around Rockaway and rooted in a deep affection for the area, the exhibition included photography, watercolor, unique painted drift wood, mixed media assemblages of shells, starfish and more.

Those who attended also enjoyed lively company and a very social evening.

Both artists were very pleased with people’s reaction to their work and glad to be able to showcase it at the Surf Club venue.

Jamin and Breslin noted they also have other RAA fundraising efforts in the works, including a children’s exhibition.

Portions of the “Rockaway Beach Girls Exhibit” art can be seen at the Blue Bungalow, which is located at 165 Beach 116th Street in Rockaway Beach.
