A Night of Sandy Reflection At RAA

Photos by Dan Guarino To mark the first anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, the Rockaway Artists Alliance opened the doors of its T-7 gallery for a Night of Reflection.

Offered as an evening for the community to be together, reflect and remember, the Tuesday, October 29th event, with music from the Art Strings ensemble, drew more than 100 people.

Those who attended were also able to walk through RAA’s “Calm/Storm/Rebirth,” an exhibition featuring more than 40 artists and over 100 works dedicated to the experience of the storm. The exhibition will run to Sunday, November 24th.
