Eyesore Of The Week

This “miscellaneous religious facility” as it is called by the Department of Buildings, at 124-01 Rockaway Beach Boulevard, has bags of garbage piled high on the front porch and even higher piles on the side of the building. Plywood fills some of the windows. Hurricane Sandy is no excuse – the building has been an eyesore for years. And even with the hurricane? It’s time to get rid of the garbage! Mercaz Hatorah of Belle Harbor, with an official address of 505 Beach 129th Street, is the owner. According to public records Levi Dicker is the Head Officer.
