101st Precinct Medal Day Salutes Its Own

Photos by Miriam Rosenberg On October 10th, more than 40 officers of the 101st Precinct were recognized for their outstanding police work over the last year. During the annual Medal Day Ceremony, which took place at Peninsula Preparatory Charter School, Police Officer Matthew Schiff was presented with the first Annual Police Officer Davilla Moore Rookie of the Year award.

The Keith Horn Memorial Cop of the Year award went to Police Officer Joseph Koch. Both awards were named in honor of 101st Precinct officers who died earlier this year.
