Cornell’s ‘Before The Storm’ Honored

“Before The Storm” is now on view at the National Arts Club. “Before The Storm” is now on view at the National Arts Club. Noted Rockaway watercolorist Arlene Cornell’s painting, “Before the Storm” has won a major award at the 117th juried art exhibition held at the National Arts Club in Manhattan.

The exhibition will be on view from Friday October 11th to Friday, October 25th.

Cornell’s painting will also be on display at a group show to be held at Cuisine By Claudette at 143 Beach 116th Street.

The show, which will feature artists working in various media, will open with a reception on Friday October 18th, from 6 to 9 pm and be on exhibit for the two following weeks.

Cornell’s paintings will also be seen in the Rockaway Artists Alliance upcoming “Calm/Storm/Rebirth” Sandy anniversary exhibition.

The National Arts Club, founded in 1898, is located at 15 Gramercy Park South.
