The two, representing the RAA Writers Group, lead a program of music, poetry, humor, stories and even a few sing-alongs. The RAA Writers Group has performed several times for the audience there, which consists of Brooklyn seniors and those also displaced from Rockaway after the storm.

The DSSM Neponsit registrants have been dedicated to maintaining their programs during the 11 months since Hurricane Sandy and their being relocated to the DSSM McKinney center in Brooklyn.

The seniors are looking forward to and are excited about moving back to their original location at 230 Beach 102nd Street in the near future.
