Modell’s Sporting Goods Opens

Modell’s, America’s oldest and largest family owned retailer is open and adding to the retailers who are reopening within the Rockaways and 5 Towns Shopping Center.

The new location of Modell’s Sporting Goods is not far from its old location and now replaces the Michael’s craft and art supply store located between Applebee’s and Conway in the 5 Towns. The new location is 16,431 square feet of open space providing for your comfortable shopping experience.

The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on August 30th. On hand were Mitchell Modell (Modell‘s CEO), JC Albano (Modell‘s Community Ambassador), Jon Snowball (District Manager), Frank Verrone (Store Manager), Steven McCartney (Rockaway Walks/ Rockaway Walks Fitness Column) and many eagerly awaiting customers.

According to Mitchell, Modell’s CEO, “Every Modell’s associate is dedicated to providing you with an outstanding shopping experience.
