Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes Rockaway Show A Hit

A large crowd filled the lawn at the park on Beach 15th Street and Seagirt Boulevard. A large crowd filled the lawn at the park on Beach 15th Street and Seagirt Boulevard. Approximately 300 people crowded the lawn by the stage at O’Donohue Park for an evening of music highlighted by Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes.

Singing such hits as “If You Don’t Know Me By Now,” the group had the audience swaying to the music and singing along.

The show was sponsored by Councilman Donovan Richards.
