Lincoln Center Plays For Peninsula

Photo By Jonathan Chapin Brian Slawson, percussionist, arranger and composer, Pat Bautz (Three Dog Night) and Steve Chapin (The Chapin Brothers), bring a vibrant demonstration of the oldest form of communication—percussive rhythm, to Rockaway, courtesy of Lincoln Center and the Peninsula Library.

“Infinite Rhythm- Musical Communication, Rhythm and Percussion,” presented by Lincoln Center in conjunction with the Queens Library, will come to the Knights of Columbus on Beach 90th Street on Saturday, September 7th.

The event starts at 2:30 p.m. and is free to all.

The audience will get a musical lesson in human communication as Slawson leads the musical ensemble through the ages, telling tales through music and rhythm as their combined talents strike up explosive sounds and unforgettable tunes. There will also be time for questions and answers with the artists during the program.

The Knights Of Columbus Rockaway Council 2672 is located at 333 Beach 90th Street, Rockaway Beach.
