Photo by Dan Guarino More than a hundred fans of films under the stars fully enjoyed a free showing of “Brave” on Wednesday night, July 24th.

The Disney/Pixar picture brought out parents, kids, families and children of all ages to the hockey rink at Beach 108th Street and Shore Front Parkway for a showing on a huge inflatable screen.

The film was presented by the New York City Department of Park and Recreation, which is also hosting a whole series of free events this summer including exercise and fitness events, concerts and live theatre.
