These will take place on Saturday, June 1st, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Sunday, June 2nd, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Said organizer Don Riepe, “Because this is the last weekend open to the public, we’d like to get as big of a crowd as possible!

“If you, or anyone you know,” he said, “is interested in lending a hand, please register at: plantjune1st.eventbrite.com or plantjune2nd.eventbrite.com.”

Riepe and the American Littoral Society wished to thank “all for the fantastic support they have given us in our effort to restore Jamaica Bay.
