MVP For Belle Harbor Runner

James Goldberg, a Belle Harbor resident and sophomore at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY, was honored with the Most Valuable Player award for the Men’s Cross Country team at the school’s athletic awards banquet on Monday, May 6th.

Looking ahead, his Cross Country coach, Kevin Clifford, noted he is excited about the coming 2013 season not only with the return of Goldberg but also the addition of incoming freshman Patrick Goldberg, currently running for Archbishop Molloy High School.

Michael Knott, a senior, received the Chuck Mancuso Dedication Award which is given to one student athlete for overall excellence and dedication to Mount Saint Vincent athletics.

Knott recently concluded his career at the college, which included stints with the basketball, baseball and volleyball teams.
