Ariel Creamer Honored By White House


Ariel Creamer, 14, of Belle Harbor was honored by the White House on April 24th. Ariel Creamer, 14, of Belle Harbor was honored by the White House on April 24th. Belle Harbor's own Ariel Creamer, a 14 year old Scholars’ Academy student, was invited to the White House on Wednesday, April 24th, where she was awarded the title of Champion of Change.

At a special ceremony in Washington D.C., Creamer was recognized for her exceptional work as founder of Survivors Silver Lining, a Facebook page created to help match generous donors to Hurricane Sandy survivors in an attempt to replace items lost to the storm.

Creamer shared this prestigious award with 16 other individuals/ organizations that stepped up in the wake of the storm to aid their communities.
