The March 27th meeting was at the Knights of Columbus. Both meetings were well attended.
At April’s meeting the Election Committee members Joe Hartigan, Kathleen Selig and Eulene Workman, presented the names of members who are eligible to vote and run for a position on the Community Council Board of Directors.
It is necessary to be a member in good standing in order to run for a position on the Board. NYPD Rules and Regulations for Community Councils require that one must have attended no less than four meetings within the twelve month period from April 2012 thru March 2013.

Nominations will be taken from the floor at the next council meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd. Any member in “good standing” who wishes to run for a position on the Board may be nominated.
The council meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.
