Caroline Plunkett Named NECC Player Of The Year
Belle Harbor’s own Caroline Plunkett, now senior at Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts, was named 2012’s New England Collegiate Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Year. In addition to being named Player of the Year, Plunkett was also selected First Team All-Conference.
Plunkett led the Becker College Hawks last year with a career high of 25 goals, the most scored in a single season by any soccer player in Becker College history.
On top of setting two single season records, Plunkett set the benchmark for goals in a career (66) and points in a career (141). Plunkett is currently ranked sixth in the nation in goals.
